Discover the pleasure of microlight aviation! The numerous innovations in this field of aviation have given rise to some real performance gems. Innovative and comfortable, these ultra-light aircraft have everything to make your scenic flight an experience you’ll want to repeat again and again!

On the Gap-Tallard airfield

A microlight aircraft is a 2-seater aircraft, with regulations imposing a maximum weight and a maximum power. As a result, these ultra-light machines are very manoeuvrable. Unlike conventional aircraft, microlight aircraft can take off and land on short, wild and undeveloped terrain. This is what makes these mythical aircraft so attractive.

The Gap-Tallard airfield is a paradise for microlight flying. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, it’s the perfect playground to try light aviation! The great manoeuvrability and unique visibility of these aircraft allow an amazing panoramic view of the alpine landscape. Flying over lakes and mountains, you’ll never forget your first scenic flight in one of these machines! If you’ve never flown in a small machine, now’s your chance and there’s no better place than right here at Gap-Tallard…!

Other flight sites in our territory

The PACA region is full of diverse and varied landscapes, all the more appreciable when seen from the sky. That’s why we’ve chosen to offer scenic flights from different places in the south of France. Fly over the orange colours of the Luberon, the purple lavender of the Verdon, or the sunny villages of Haute Provence! A unique variety of landscapes, even more beautiful from above.

Microlight flying is possible every day, from sunrise to sunset. Accessible to all, it will delight young and old alike! The maximum weight is 95kg, as this is a regulated activity.

Audery G.

“I took a one hour flight in a microlight plane. Comfortable and well designed aircraft for tourism with a clear view through the plexiglass doors. The instructor is an attentive and very friendly pilot. He showed me a good part of the region. I saw some amazing scenery.”
